I am a documentary photographer. I seek out people, landscapes, and events. Rarely, do I make flattery an intention, but my eye seeks slices of life, ingredients that together are naturally beautiful, though some particulars may be rough on their own, in context of one’s life, such imperfections become lovely.

Representation

Every image has an opinion attached to it, meaning, no image is merely a straight representation of what is depicted, but a coming together of an eye, an “I”, the lens, and the light. That a scene or setting is laden with the view of the photographer, even if that is only the physics of the light in a particular moment, is what compels me to shoot. It is a chance to tell a story. A chance to tell a truth.
